Helping Hand

Most artists are scared of what will become of them. Some don't even care.
I suppose I fit somewhere inbetween.

In either case, this book, The Artist's Guide: How to Make a Living Doing What You Love by Jackie Battenfield, is very helpful, and I would advise any artist serious about making a career for themselves, even if they don't want to become "mainstream," to read it.
Unless of course, you already have a lot going for you as an artist. Then you might not need it.
