On Skin

Everyone seems to love tattoos, and the idea that something will permanently be on their skin until they die (or have it removed). I, personally, prefer to draw on my skin. It's true, it's not permanent, but that's exactly the beauty of it. I can draw something I like on my skin, and it'll wash right off. So as soon as I see something else I want to draw on me, I can draw that whenever the previous drawing washes off.

Now, I have an idea for a tattoo I want to get, but it's on space I can't draw anyway.

I've done a few drawings on my skin, and I plan to do even more which I will post up here when they've been accomplished.
Here is just a doodle I did on my hand in my Algebra II class of some random designs and objects. But once this is washed off, I'll be able to draw something entirely different, and people who get tattoos aren't able to do that.
I also believe a lot of meaning is either over-used or nonexistent in tattoos. People will get any random image tattooed on them that they think looks cool. What a pathetic waste of skin. I think tattoos should always hold at least some small meaning to them. That, or people will get tattoos with a generic meaning to them, like peace. You don't really need a peace symbol tattooed on your body to show that you're for peace. If you want someone to realize you're for peace, show it. This isn't to say I'm against people who have tattoos such as these, but I think they should have reconsidered their decision to get the tattoo.

That being said, I favor the pen over the (tattoo) gun.

"God gave me a left arm so I could draw on it."
